常见问题

开始前的简明解答。

Do I need an account before installing?

Download an available installer and activate the app with a valid license. The desktop activation flow verifies your key online; this website is not a CRM account login.

Does selecting an option save a record?

No. Review the complete form and use its Save action. Country suggestions and relationship selectors choose a value, not a save action.

Does Sync transfer my entire CRM?

No. Contact and Product Sync share supported standardized records with compatible peers. Verify the selected workspace and app versions; do not assume proposals, deals or all relationships are shared.

What should I do before importing or merging?

Create and verify a backup. Review the preview, duplicate handling and relationships before confirming a change. Restoring a trashed record does not undo a merge.

What should I send to support?

Provide the app version, exact error and steps to reproduce it. Redact license keys, credentials and customer details. Never send a backup password publicly.

What is LeadsSeek?

LeadsSeek combines lead research, qualification and sales CRM in one desktop workspace. Organize companies and contacts, keep research evidence, prioritize leads, manage deals and follow-ups, and prepare proposals. See Features for an overview.

Which operating systems does LeadsSeek support?

LeadsSeek is developed for Windows and macOS. Visit Download to check which installers are currently available. Availability can differ by platform; contact support if your installer is not listed.

Which languages and appearance options are available in the app?

The desktop interface supports English, Bahasa Melayu and Simplified Chinese, with light and dark appearance options. Use the top navigation for quick changes or open Settings for preferences. These options change presentation, not your stored record relationships. Website guide and FAQ content currently use one English content set.

Do I need an internet connection to use LeadsSeek?

An internet connection is required for license activation and online verification before opening protected features. Update checks, website inspection, connected email, webhooks and AI requests also depend on their respective connections. Do not assume that a stored license key guarantees access when verification is unavailable.

Can I request a trial before purchasing?

Yes. Open Get Trial to see the current trial duration and conditions. Enter your name and Gmail address, verify the six-digit email code, then explicitly submit your trial request. No payment details are required. Each email can request one LeadsSeek trial; another request from the same IP requires admin review. An issued license starts its term immediately, not on first activation. Download LeadsSeek and activate it with your verified email and license key. If email delivery is delayed, copy the key shown on the Trial page or contact support. Do not submit another request.

Which license plan should I choose?

Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime plans provide different access durations for the complete LeadsSeek workspace. Review the current prices, duration and device terms on Pricing before purchasing. Optional charges from your own email or AI providers are separate.

Will a Monthly or Yearly purchase automatically renew?

No. The current Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime plans are one-time purchases, not automatically renewing subscriptions. Fixed-term access expires at the issued license expiry; your card is not automatically charged for another term. Review the current offer on Pricing.

When does my fixed-term license start?

Fixed-term access starts when the license is issued, not when you first install or activate the app. Check the issued expiry and plan in Settings → License. Keep your purchase confirmation so support can investigate any discrepancy.

How do I receive and activate my purchased license?

After Stripe confirms payment, the purchase confirmation page displays your LDS license key. A copy is also sent to the email address supplied at checkout. Install LeadsSeek and use that purchase email and key in the activation screen. Keep the key private. See the installation guide.

I paid but have not received the license email. What should I do?

Keep your purchase confirmation page open and check its payment and license status. Save the key if it is already displayed, then check your spam folder and the email address entered at checkout. If confirmation or delivery is pending, use Check again or contact support with the purchase reference. Do not pay again just because an email has not arrived.

How many computers can I activate with one license?

One LeadsSeek license activates one computer at a time. Sharing your key does not grant additional device access. Check Pricing and the License Agreement for the current terms.

How do I move my license and workspace to another computer?

First create and verify a workspace backup. Deactivate the license on the old computer using the app controls before activating it on the replacement computer, then review the backup restore instructions. License deactivation does not transfer business records by itself. Previously deactivated devices may need support review before reactivation.

Where can I view my license details?

Open Settings → License to review the plan, expiry and device details. If activation or verification fails, check your connection and purchase email/key, then contact support with the exact error. Never post the full key in a public screenshot or message.

How do I check for software updates?

Open Settings → About and use the software update check. Review the offered version and follow the displayed download/install instructions. Back up important records before updating. You can also check Download; an update being announced does not mean an installer is available for every platform.

Does LeadsSeek automatically find or scrape lists of people?

No. Lead research starts with records you enter or import and business websites you choose to inspect. Keep sources, notes and qualification evidence together, and collect only information you are entitled to manage. LeadsSeek is not a bulk personal-data harvesting or access-control bypass tool.

How does lead qualification and scoring work?

Use a qualification template to record answers and supporting evidence for a lead. Review required answers, scoring rules and the proposed outcome before completing the session. Scores help prioritize work; they do not guarantee a sale or replace your judgment. Completed qualification sessions are read-only. See Qualification.

What is the difference between a Lead and a Deal?

A Lead captures an enquiry or potential sales opportunity while you research and qualify it. A Deal tracks an opportunity through your sales pipeline, including its stage, value, currency and follow-up work. You can convert an appropriate lead into a deal after reviewing its company and contact relationships.

How can I keep track of follow-ups?

Create an Activity linked to the relevant lead, contact or deal, and set its due date and subject. Use My Day and Calendar to review upcoming or overdue work. Record the outcome and mark the activity complete after doing the work; completing an activity does not automatically close its deal.

Can I use my own email account with LeadsSeek?

Yes. Configure an authorized SMTP/IMAP account in Settings → Communications → Email accounts and test the connection. Review recipients and message content before sending. Provider access, sending limits and delivery depend on your account. If a send result is uncertain, check its status before retrying to avoid duplicate messages.

Is AI required, and who pays for AI usage?

AI connections are optional. Configure your own supported provider endpoint and credentials, understand its charges, and review the selected information before making a request. Usage charges belong to your provider account. Review generated output before using it; do not assume an AI response has changed your CRM records.

How should I protect private business information?

Your business data remains under your control. Review what you share when enabling email, webhooks, sync or AI connections, and use only trusted destinations. Keep license keys, provider credentials and backup passwords private. Redact customer information from support screenshots and protect exported files.

Can I import and export existing records?

Use the supported transfer workflow for the type of records you want to move. Data Tools contains CRM import/export controls; Products has its own Import/Export workflow. Review the template, mapped fields, validation results and duplicate handling before committing an import. An export is not a substitute for a verified recovery backup. See Import and export.

Can I customize my sales workflow?

Use the supported pipeline stages, qualification templates, tags, custom fields, Smart Lists and saved views to organize your process. Review the scope of changes and enabled automation rules before applying them. Check Automation History to confirm what actually ran rather than assuming that an enabled rule completed successfully.

Can I create proposals and quotations?

Yes. Use the product catalogue and proposal workflow to prepare sales documents from reviewed details. Check the customer, currency, quantities, prices and totals before finalizing or exporting. Existing proposal snapshots retain their recorded details; later catalogue changes do not automatically rewrite them. See Products and proposals.

How do I back up and restore my workspace?

Open Settings → Protection → Backup and create a backup using the available options. Keep any password safe and verify the archive before relying on it. Before restoring, review the selected archive and replacement preview, then check representative records and reconnect accounts that require credentials. See Backup and recovery.
